Wanted to do some sort of cookies and milk thing, but something different. This is real milk. Not glue or paste or a substitute of some kind.

The reminds me of that (was it an orange slice?) photo w/ the juice dripping off. I like the bg gradient. I have to kind of agree that sometimes natural just doesn't look as "natural" as something fake. This milk does look really watery. I also have to agree about the lighting and reflections on it. Did you diffuse the lighting? The right side of the cookie looks rather dark compared to the left side. Even, diffuse lighting is one of my biggest challenges, but I think it could've helped here. I sort of like the simplicity of just the cookie on the bg, but it would also be interesting to see it half dipped in some milk - esp if you could get the cookie to reflect in the milk - sort of like a cookie sunset. Then you wouldn't have this wet cookie look (which isn't all that appealing to me). Good focus (*lol* I typed food focus first... freudian slip?). Quality shot that deserved to do better IMO. This is about taking good shots, and this just doesn't have enough room for improvement to be sub 5. Nice camera btw :P
*lol* I also find the title a bit obscene for some reason. Maybe it's just my mind.

I like the simplicity of this. But the milk looks watered down... skim? I used whipping cream on my photo because it's much thicker and whiter than plain ol' milk. Now I'm hungry for a cookie.

The background is nice and helps the cookie stand out well. But the slight off-centeredness is a bit disconcerting. It seems like it should either be centered or be more off-center so that it looks more intentional.

Very sharp.... clear...almost real

As much as I dislike dairy products, this is a very appetising photo :). Lovely, simple compsition, nice colours, and a background with a lovely gradient.

Good job, perhaps a bit too much glare on the milk. The cookie seems a little too yellow on my monitor as well.

Nice reflections accentuating the milk on the cookie. complimentary blue background works well. Good luck.

There seems to be something missing here. I think (and this is rarely the case) I would have liked to see fingers in the shot holding the cookie. Ilike the colours. Good choice of background. Jacko.

Great use of background colour to bring out the colour of the subject. Looks yummy too. Clarity and composition are great. GL

lol good shooting, looks yummy. Good challenge entry. I think the light is just a little bit harsh.

I do not think the tittle does anything for me.
