While I really like this shot as a pretty picture only, I also saw something in her pose. She looked like she was trying to get to the other side of the gate. Seemed like a good opportunity for a little social commentary.

I took this picture while shadowing grigrigirl. She is just as incredible a photographer, friend, and human being in real life as seems to be.

I agree, this deserves to be ranked much higher.

Another image which remained under rated. This is simply lovely to look at. The concept and execution are superb. Keep up the nice work, the awards will come your way.

I think this is a spectacular image that should have placed higher than it did. Congrats on a great photo!

I like this photo, although it's a bit disquieting if you think on it a bit.

would have been more effective with the 'gilded' color instead of BW

It seems we are reapped in our own world. Great presentation and a winner for b.w. The harmony of the iron door and the marble floor speak of either a lasting relation or a great mistake. lol. Bumping up.

Perfectly titled. Very ethereal, yet somewhat humorous.

I can't stop looking at this picture. My head is immediately filled with questions: is she hiding? Is she trying to run away? Is she trapped? Or is she just waiting for someone? The lighting is outstanding, the soft focus is perfect, this is the first 10 I've ever given and my favourite picture ever on this site.

Rather ominous. Neat effect, posed or is she really thinking...

Begs the question of is she leaving or wondering if he's coming. Nice B&W.

I hope she's not a Runaway Bride... :-) This is a really nice shot. I like the lighting. Good luck in the challenge.

I like orginality of subject... sure against light its hard picture taking conditions cuz of high contrast. I think it would be better in lower angle and seeing less of floor its too distracting for main objects.

A stunning and unusual bridal study. B&W is perfect for it, especially considering the complexity of the ornate doors (or window). Beautifully done!

Masterful pose and idea. The idea seems a bit soft, but they may have very well been done on purpose considering the nature of the shoot (wedding). Great work! I'd love to see more of this gallery. 8.
