Leland is a great place to visit which is on Lake Michigan. Fishtown at the harbor is well preserved and looks like Popeye would live there.

Good eye for finding a photogenic scene. Watch out for the halo effect between your roofs and trees and the sky. Also, watch out for perspective issues, especially near the edges where it's more obvious that lines that should be vertical aren't quite there.
