A construction site on my way to work. These two guys are out on this platform every single morning. I've tried to shoot them a bunch of times, without much success. The biggest problem is that I'm shooting from across a busy street, and there's no safe way to get any closer.

B&W works well for this. These are some questions that popped into my head when I look at this
- Is the truck beening loaded or unloaded?
-What is going to be created from the rebar?
-Does the same person do all the work(!)?
-What is the old building behind the truck?

Thanks for capturing my curiosity!

Close enough - we have a nice combination of detail telling the specific story and context/setting.

Looks like a quiet gray day for their work - I love the bundles of rebar (I think it is).

Lights on in broad daylight, Seattle-style :-)

This sounds like a tough one to pull off considering you are across the street, but you definitely have your b/w processing!

I want to get closer so that I can shoot wider. I want to show more of the scene but still have the guys nice and big in the frame.

I agree. In the streets, closer is usually better. bvy will tell you this every time (but he has no shame - in a nice way ofcourse).
