This is a building that was built in 1873 as a general store in a small "town" in the middle of very flat farm land in the thumb area of Michigan. This town consists of only this building, a bar, church, and a few homes.
It had been 20 years since I had driven by it and when I was there the other day, I was very surprised to even see the old gas pump still there.
I used to go by this place as a kid on the way north to a family cottage and it has been empty for the past 50 years and hasn't changed at all except for the plywood in a couple windows.
It actually looks like a building you would see in the old West.

I love shots of old and decaying buildings. There must be a reason why you chose to cut off the right edge.
