Oh my, a ribbon with this shoddy last minute entry! Yikes!

Thank you for the votes and comments everyone.

I didn't take these photos with the challenge in mind - it was only after i'd edited a couple of them that, a few hours from deadline, i noticed the challenge and thought i could squash a handful of the already edited files together hastily in Photoshop to enter. I really do prefer the single image ones but there ya go. I think if i'd shot for the challenge i'd have made more of an effort - used a tripod, combined the photographs first before processing them etc

Still, i do like the final image and i'm very pleased it got a ribbon of course. Thanks all.

Oh, and the halos are an obvious tribute to Daido Moriyama. That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it!! ;)

Wow, I just realized you got a ribbon! Awesomeness! It was one of my high votes too. Congrats to you! So what do you suppose is the reciprocal of "worm"? :-)

Clive, your talent is so flexible!!! You ribbon alongside the best of them, but still you are loved by the worst of us. You remain my favorite poet. Cheers!

Oh, Clive. A ribbon! How can I remain true to you now, you shameless tart?

I hope you will tolerate my saying that it is to my recollection your least interesting photograph (which is not to say it's uninteresting, because it's not ... but its lesser-celebrated stablemates in your portfolio set a fiercely high standard interest-wise). I blame the challenge topic, which near enough forced the entrants into playing the same hackneyed old 'multiple appearance' game. You at least played it with some rare sense of lightness of touch, and my congrats for that. But please don't make a habit of this ribbon stuff, mate.

Love the setting that transcends time and even the place with out of season activity.

Round and round, searching, finding, anticipating, reaching! Nicely done, don't like the title, but that's just me!

The three kids in the back looks like they have been retouched in later, which is kinda the point with this challenge, but it shouldn't look like it. It looks like the one on the right has a halo around its head, and the one on the left has a messed up dark area around it. It might be the shadow, but it looks like photoshop. Apart from that this shot is absolutely amazing! 7

There is a spooky feeling that I get, almost as if Guillermo Del Toro was involved. The design and geometrical elements are nice, and add impact.

This is perfect in black & white. I can't imagine what the color version looks like, and I don't want to.
