 It's always nice to see a vision come to life.

At the start of this, I had many ideas, none of them stood out enough to become something I wanted to try. Then about half way through I found some fall M&Ms at the store, and purchased them as a potential prop. Yet I had no idea how I would use them at this time.

The next day comes and I think of the idea you see now. So I gathered some leaves, and waited until my wife went to sleep (so she didn't eat my prop). I setup the shot, with two off camera flashes bouncing off the ceiling.

I took two main shots. One with the top of the jar candy in focus, and one with the background candy in focus. Then I used Helicon Focus to stack the images together to get a much larger depth of field than would ever be possible in one shot.

The result is basically exactly what I was going for. I hope it's enjoyed by the voters.
