 Photographer’s Notes
Thanksgiving morning my wife, daughter, son-in-law and 20 of our closest friends went on our traditional (9th annual) Thanksgiving Day Hike. It was super foggy and humid and cool. Along the way I spotted this neat web covered in dew.

Perfect for shallow depth of field so I could lose the complex forest background but keep the subtle colors and pattern. Turned out terrific at ~ 7,000 x 5,000. Loses something in the translation to 800 x 571.

I love natural "found" shots like this. Had I run across this I'd have been ecstatic! Glad you found it and shared it with us. One of my top picks - was hoping it'd make the front page.

Interesting choice of title. Great detail on the top of the web - too bad you couldn't tighten up the aperture and get enough DOF to fit the whole web in focus.
