Quiet and indeed meditative. Has that cold fall nor'east kinda feel to it. Definitely sets a mood.

The bird makes the shot, and the fat slice of horizon water. I had this one placed higher...

Even though the water drops throw part of the image or of focus I think it makes the shot interesting.

My team and I were marveling at the dearth of comments in this challenge so we thought we would at least attempt to correct that a little:

Lovely processing. Almost has a Robt feel to it. Very tranquil.

Rainy windows can produce interesting results. This is an interesting shot, with an odd mix of somewhat sharp and outright blurred regions.

To be honest, at first I didn't like this. In particular, the border, but meh, that can change so easily. I wanted a little more definition in the image itself and a little less raindrop. But then, I stayed. I looked more. Not many images entice me to linger. As I peered into the colourscape, I realised that I have spent many hours staring at views similar to this, dreaming dreams, planning plans. I realised that your concept and image made me think, dream, remember. Thank you.

There is so much to see in this I've had to look a few times and keep seeing different things. Hope that water is not all over your lens!

Could this be the Bridge To The Eastern Shore?

Hmm..
