 Was watching "A Clockwork Orange" by Stanley Kubrick the other day (again), and the idea of for this came to me. Very off-the-wall and weird, but I guess part of that appeals to me more than the conventional. Aware that global appeal for this will be minimal and this will tank badly.

If I can get 6+, I will be well surprised!



Lighting:
- Simple flash and shoot-thru umbrella setup
- longish shutter sync speed to collect some ambient light too.

Processing:
- Import into LR3
- Global adjustments to Exposure and Brightness
- Send to SEP2
- Apply Wet Rocks preset (I LOVE this preset)
- Global adjustments to Brightness/Contrast/Structure
- Control points on hands and face for Structure/Contrast
- Send back to LR3
- Global adjustments to Contrast
- Dodging and Burning
- Sharpening on eye, tongue and beard
- Iris enhance
- Local adjustments to exposure on hands and face/ear.
- Save for Web

Sigh. See this one tanked quite a bit. Bummer, I thought it was pretty neat. Guess it was too icky or not executed well enough.

This is just SO sadistic. I LOVE it! Great shot man.

Love the terror in the eye... the composition is nicely done... and the lighting is great.

REALLY REALLY REALLY wish I could vote. Hope it does well.

Oh dear lord, I have a phobia about sharp things pointing at my eye.... so even though I have to glance and look away, this is still a really Awesome shot!
