I think this is freakin' awesome. I love flare. There's the glint off the belt on the gentleman heading down the stairs, the flare through the girl's hair, and the young lady's face between the poles of the stair railing. You also have OUT and an orb. And that wonderful sun at the top of the stairs. Can't go wrong. (Well, except for DPC score, but you more than make up for it with a myriad of other entries.)

This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. The cinematic feel this has.
2. The centrality of the flare to the composition and impact of the image.
3. The green hue.
4. The mystery of the figures.
5. The red 'painting' of the coat (top-right) by the sun.

So interesting.
