*Does Picard Facepalm * I got the bit of the protest but totally missed the 'getting off the bus' reference- I kept thinking it was in a restaurant and the patron was heading out the door. Guess I missed the bus:-) I get it now: you were protesting the challenge and getting off the bus.

I got this that you were protesting the challenge but the blur didn't compute somehow.
I viewed it over and over and couldn't quite piece it together. Then I remembered the song...- slip out the back, Jack - hop on the bus, Gus... hahaha funny thought anyway.
You don't need to discuss much! Lalala

Great image - sorry but I was unable to find what it was based on. (So I will refrain from voting on it.)

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

The B&W tones are very good and the zoom is nicely done. It took me awhile to figure out how the picture relates to the title. I am sure quite a few viewers don't spend a ton of time pondering which I feel is why so it is up to the photographer to provide more clues within the shot to tell/support the 'story'. I like the use of zoom to create the lines of movement in the shot. I now get it that the man is leaving in a hurry - in 'protest'. But I am left wondering - in protest of what? Is this a restaurant that he is upset with the service? Is this a theatre or sports venue where he is leaving in disgust/protesting the performance? I don't know because there are a lack of visual clues in the shot that it cannot complete the story. Lastly, I feel that had you captured more of man's face showing expression it could greatly help with the story you are trying to project. If we can clearly see he has an angry face or one of disgust, we know that his emotion is driving him to protest by walking out.

35 challenge entries with this title. Only two were dq'd. Except that both were in black and white, I could not really see a resemblance between either of them and yours.

I like how the effect draws me towards the subject and give the sense of motion.

I can't find the original, so I assume this is a protest against the challenge itself. You don't like the concept so you are getting off the bus. I'm open to any sort of response to a challenge. The blur lines help to usher the figure out. the composition does, too. it's a good image, makes me a little interested in the person at the center of this struggle.
