I always wondered how people managed to capture photos for these challenges on the last day. Wasn't it a lot of pressure trying to just the right shot as the clocked ticked to zero?
Now I know. As a South Dakotan as soon as I saw this challenge I thought "how could I not find a rural photo worthy?" Beautiful rural shots are all over.
Haha.
Then life steps in and work and family obligations got in the way. Then a Sunday driving around was a bust. Same for Monday. Now I was down to the wire.
But as I glanced at the windmills during my commute home from Brookings to Watertown my senses were awakened and I excitedly exited the interstate and drove towards the windmills.
It might not be the best photo, but hopefully it is unique and interesting. I sure had fun capturing it. (There were two neat scenes, the one I posted and huge bales of hay with the windmills in the background. I think this was a slightly better shot.)
