|I would love to say that my back was on a stool, my head was thrown back, and my feet were up against the wall, but...
that wouldn't be true. My initial plan was to shoot all types of arms, heads and legs and piece together a front-facing arm with a back facing leg, etc.
This happened to look a lot better and fit into my "bizarre part human contraption idea." This is a composite of three photos, an addition of arms from different shots not a simple erasing of head and legs.
I am happy with the 50 mm 1.8 creating a nice feel and lighting, the flexing arm is a bit overexposed, and I can still see where I added the arms, but I like the plastic on the window, onto the floor, and the striped towel. I suppose the crop (or composition) could have been a bit better when it came to where my hand falls on the window on the door on the left. I have to give credit to Nikki( Nam a new teammate, for helping to select this image out of a few, and making wonderful suggestions to make the image better, that I was not able to implement(I tried!).
Oh yeah, and this was a personal best, with two faves, and great comments, especially from Tanguera(who needs no description, but has some of the best and most photographic expert editing entries on DPC)(as well as RKT, a superb black and whiter herself.) So thanks are in order. (Queue the Oscar theme music-speech over)
