calculations to b/w. curves to brighten the whites. different sharpening on waterfall and bridge. no sharpening at all on the clutter between them.

I can't be sure of the aperture because it's manual on this lens.

Hi posthumous, nice work on the landscape. I remember this image in the challenge because it is so massive; the depth of everything is huge. I like the subtle elements of light that pop up here and there throughout the piece. I think you should great extra points for using a manual lens. I don’t think many people could use a manual and get this type of depth and clarity. Your piece reminds me of something we would see in Black & White magazine, where the blacks are so deep and rich. Great work, I look forward to your future entries.

The sense of scale in this is magnificent. An excellent conversion, too. I'm not normally a fan of waterfall shots (I don't know why), but I really do like this one.

Ooohh, you're wicked. Give yourself a coloured glove.

This is the only image I remembered the next day, after running through the challenge.

I don't think I've ever seen you take a photo of some falls, it was a lovely moody shot!

beautiful low key interpretation.
Funny enough... I've been to this place just about 3 weeks ago :)

The photo is a little too dark (for my liking) and I would have enjoyed seeing more of the waterfall. It seems the focus of this photograph should have been the waterfall, and this is a strange crop (IMO).
