You all hate this photo, I know, because you think it is a complete rip off...well it sort of is. this was a black piece of paper taped to my desk with my computer reflecting sonifos awesome pic on a cd that i waved under the reflection. yes you hate this, and I predict my score will be a 3.5

I seen your post in the forums on how you did this. Very very creative work. And thanks for using my picture. I think this sort of thing is hard for people to except here. Can't wait to see what else you pull out of your hat!

CC is here!
Hello Achiral. I'm struck by your photographers comments, it's the first I've seen it. Sonifo should feel flattered.

Fits The Challenge-No, and it shows by the score you received. Wow they beat you up. I don't mind that it's a photo of a landscape and I can be picky. :) It's an attractive photo, with great colors.

Composition-Very nice. This could be a mock up for a professional CD label. It's different and _sometimes_ different at DPC won't fly.

Background-n/a

Digital Processing-Fair, nothing strikes me as too much or too little. Because it's a monitor it's not very sharp.

My Opinion-I like it for the colors and the creativity. It was a cool idea, just the wrong challenge. You know: Can't please all the peeps all the time. I think I know that lesson better then anyone here!!!
Thanks for letting me review your photo Achiral. Keep clicking your young and have wonderful new ideas and inventive creativity.

Very different presentation of landscape - composition is very unusual and very creative.

Every challenge there is a photo of a computer or monitor and i thought it couldn`t happen with a landscape challenge. How wrong i was.
I score you 4 for fitting the challenge without getting out of your chair.

The picture of the grass would have been beautiful on it's own without the CD put in there.

The effect used is neat, but I do not think that this photo delivers what you would like to the viewer. What is the point of the cd? Is it to show off that you know how to reflect light? ;) Just the image that you have reflected would of resulted in my giving you a higher score. jgillard4

Ok , you get the has least to do with the challenge award. Teasing. The photo of the sunset is beautiful, That should be the only thing here.

I'm not sure I quite get this one. I'm a little uncertain about why the CD is here.

It's a nice attempt to do something different, but it's just to fuzzy for my taste.

Hey Nice picture. Where did you take that shot.
Ok, it took me awhile to think about how I felt about this. I am not upset that you used my photo. I am a little flattered. Does it meet the challenge? yes. Do I like the technique? I would say ya to a point. I wish I knew more about how you did this. It almost looks like a t.v. screen. Is it really reflecting off of the disc? Very impressive if it is. Good luck in the challenge.

I guess I could say this isn't the subject matter that so many of you say to my images but you know--bye bye
