Just wanted to say that I love the picture, and I hope you'll never give up on photography. If you stay persistent I can see great accomplishments in the future... You have a great eye. |

No, no no... Drains get finer with cleaning... It's wines that get finer with age.
Speaking of cleaning, you might want to start with some rather strong acid - looks like those minerals are gonna be tough!
..
Seriously though, nice photo, from an abstract perspective I think it's lacking a little something that would take it to the top, but it is pretty darn good overall. Great textures in the left hand portion of the image. |

Deceptively simple. Until you look at the human 'rust' and the rust of age. And yes, the drain inevitably is open, it still does its job, immaterial of its surroundings. I would love to see this in a 9:16 crop, black&white with the opening/plug almost in the right bottom corner. See, I love this image for its potential. Brave entree.
