Thanks for the comment. However, this is the crop I had to use because there were other things hanging on the wall next to the red wheel that would have spoilt a wider crop.

Nice find with the red! I like how you made this a study in lines and curves by just having the top half of the wheel stand out against the red wood plank wall. I like the color and the texture you can see in the grain of the unpainted wood and painted wall of the barn. I think it would look even better if you upped the levels just a wee bit on the shadows - just to give a bit more contrast in the dark tones to let it pop more. My other critique is that I think the composition would be more visually stronger if you cropped it such that the arc of the wheel ends in the bottom corners in the composition (almost like a rainbow).
