This is really beautiful ... color and shadows impart some kind of mysticism ... I give this a ten.

I like your choice of subject. It would be interesting to see how the results varied with different methods of lighting. At any rate, this is a photo that's growing on me.

First impressions - what the heck is it? I'm guessing a macro of a roll of wickerwork, or some sort of knotted fabric. The focus is a bit odd - I'm not sure if it's a fuzzy subject or a blurry photo that's been sharpened - but it combines with the spiral shape to make it vaguely hypnotic, nice. Couple of suggestions - the colour seems a bit muted - did you try boosting the saturation or hue shifting to another colour? Also, I'd recommend you try cropping closer so that the spiral's centre isn't central in the image, ie have it over one of the Rule of Thirds points, as that often helps lead the eye around the image. Overall, an interesting image that feels a bit too soft and muted, but definitely meets the challenge - 6.

great pattern.... it grabs you... maybe because you kept the light low enough to make you look long enough to realize what it is... I like this one

Nice pattern. Easily lost in the weave. Good idea :)

this image seems fairly out of focus, interesting pattern though

Good abstract, I could definitely see this on a wall somewhere.
