Re-edit of my June 2013 Free Study,

I don't have skills or experience as a post processor, but I tried messing around with curves and other stuff in Aperture.
This is what I came up with. In the process, I muddied it up a bit where it doesn't look as sharp as my basic processing of my entry. Oh ya, I forgot to crop it in the re-edit haha.
Still learning...

What a view! Actually, I love the foreground in the other version because of the definition, and the sky in this version, so if you could just blend them together... ;-) The Columbia River Gorge is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
