thanks for the comments everyone!

I actually decided to not crop out the top and bottom because it gave a sense of where the photograph was taken (dumbo, brooklyn)...i like the different textures and colors...plus...there are bricks everywhere. the title was not referring solely to the bluish brick wall...

@MeMex,i like to shoot my subjects dead center when shooting wide...and it was a caught moment.

but i do really appreciate all the feedback, comments and suggestions!

I don't think BIKE and BRICK could be done any better.

How important was the road and the buildings behind the blue wall? might want to remove one or the other via cropping. I think it would really enhance the photograph.

I like the concept and colors. I think if the cyclist were not centered and if you cropped to the top of the wall
and to the white sidewalk that it would have been a stronger composition.

I like this shot. The color on the wall and the contrast from the other elements really make it nice. I wish she was looking ahead, instead of at you though. Nicely seen!

That is a perfect background for the bicycle rider. I think I would have cropped the top off but overall nice image.
