Great detail and the eye is drawn up to the beautiful sky

Gorgeous exposure, and I love that textured, twisty old tree. It has character.

Unusual old tree stump and I like the way the light brings out the gnarled details. Love that starry sky. 7

Stunning image. Very moody and the clarity is amazing. Good luck!

Gives me the feel of a fairy tale image. "Tree of lost souls" perhaps? The branch on the left really looks like a woman, holding herself with her left arm to the tree and with her right arm reaching out to the stars above her. I have too much imagination, don't I?

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

Love the twists and turns on that old gnarled tree. It's top branch/trunk seems to be pointing up calling my attention up to the sky full of stars. Great details in this shot. I do have one suggestion in that I think the the warm tones detract a bit from the visual impact. Typically night skies are a deeper tone of black/blue. The warm white light washes out that richness of the sky and diminishes the invocation of this being at night. Perhaps in the processing introducing some blue tones would help strengthen the nighttime mood. Still and excellent shot and well done.

30' exposure? I get the same millimeter long "star trails." The tree's lighting is great
