 Only in a very few things can one see the past, the present and the future at the same time. Due to its size and vibrancy, this makes a powerful statement in the form of three different stages of the life of a poppy. All are beautiful, whether they belong to yesterday, today or tomorrow. But the essence is that yesterday gives meaning to today and shapes tomorrow.
The poppy is also the symbol of remembrance. I was aware of the clarity and sharpness of yesterday's poppy as a reminder to keep the memories alive.
The only manipulation was a small crop.
