 I got unlucky and lucky for this challenge.

First the unlucky. My son and I were walking in a park towards some geese. They started to honk loudly, which I should have taken as a sound of flight imminent. A few second later, two of them flew straight at us. I didn't have the camera up, otherwise that could have been a great shot, as they flew within 3 meters of us. The next set flew, but at a different angle. I shot them flying low over the water, which is nice, but not as nice.

Later that morning we were walking a path next to a lake when I see a bunch of carp spawning along the shore. We stopped to watch them a bit, and I determined the light was just right to see in the water, even without a polarizing filter on hand. Grabbed some shots, and this is the end result. I like the curvature of the outside fish, and the wild chaos of the ball of fish.

Hard to say how well this one will be received.

Love the graceful arcs, and this image is well suited for black and white. I have shot (and entered) similar scenes from a pool near my house. I wish they would put in a filtration system to clean the water for better photos. Nice job.
