I'll have a double, and bring another one for the little lady.

Love the light. The little girl looks so vulnerable, all alone in a dark bar, looking for (or at) someone she hopes will come back and make her feel secure.

Love the light in this, especially how it catches her face.

Hanging out at the bar. She must be waiting for a friend to show up.

This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 9s - I like it a lot. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Super-captivating subject, just sat there like a woman of the world.

2. The juxtaposition of the bar and child.

3. Her intent look - not caring about our photographic presence.

4. The trick of making her look abandoned - of course we know someone is holding the camera, but it is effective nonetheless.

5. Great tones and the slight grain. Excellent.

Great shot.
