It has a longer name, but is known locally as St. Mary's Cathedral. A striking design, denizens of our irreverent city dubbed it "The Washing machine Agitator".
The vertical black line (there are 4 of them) enclose lovely stained glass windows when seen from the interior.

An interesting modern design. Can you see all stained glass windows simultaneously if you are inside? (I do imagine some head turning.)

How funny. We have some interesting churches around here. The ones built in the 70's are especially interesting. The locals dubbed one the golden toaster because of it's golden color and the fact that it looks quite a bit like a toaster oven. Now try to imagine that.
