 Lock in the city center. Will be renovated next year, it becomes longer, wider and deeper.

Interesting to compare the 'then' and 'now'. If this is to be enlarged, what has to go?

I find locks so interesting. We have man made canals around here with what I guess you would call locks. We just call them head gates though.

Locks are cool. We have three within about 25 miles, on the local river. I guess that this one must still be in operation if they are wanting to upgrade it.
