The details in those feathers are amazing!

Just wondering if you applied some sort of softening overlay or denoise program. If so, would it be possible to erase some of the effects from around its eye area or perhaps some local sharpening? I just feel it would be nice to have the eye a bit sharper/focused. I'm crap at pp so I'm not sure it is possible. But I wouldn't stress about it as it is an overall powerful image.
