This is my first free study submission in a while. Now that I am settling down in a new state, in a new house, I hope to be able to enter more here, even if it is just the monthly Free Studies!
This little fellow was very inquisitive of our little group up at Gem Lake, right outside Estes Park, CO. The lake was frozen over still, and the trip up was fun with the ice and snow mixture on half of the trail. It was a great hike!

Focus is clearly on the nose but the extrmely shallow depth of field already loses sharpness by the eyes (which are critical in wildlife shots in my view). I also feel the light is a bit harsh. Overall good composition, but find the subject uninspired for a Free Study. 5 from me.
