Photographer’s Notes Someone spotted my photo of the fountain at Seattle Center in the Emotion challenge and suggested I should have saved it for this challenge. Well, I can always reshoot.
Still, the voters here, you know who you are, often don’t reward near duplicates so if I’m going to reshoot, I’m going to go for a different look. Here it is.
It was a twenty-minute drive to Seattle Center, a twenty-minute shoot; a twenty-minute drive home, and twenty minutes in editing. Feels too easy. Maybe I’m missing something. Good camera; good software; on-challenge subject; innovative take on the challenge; good thumbnail invites opening – I’m not sure what I’m missing.

That fountain was my very first thought when I saw the challenge description - pity we don't live in WA anymore.
Love the photo - I don't normally go for that HDR look, but I just adore the way it hides the Space Needle behind the water.
congrats on the ribbon, I almost got arrested taking photos at that fountain, parents don't like their half naked kids jumping thru the water to be photographed. Funny, I was shooting for the rain challenge, since we didn't have any real rain at the time.
