Critique Club Critique
(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) Well composed. The strong use of diagonal leading lines makes a very powerful composition. The use of the rule of thirds can be seen here as well. Well thought out.
(2) BACKGROUND I love the background that you have used, even if it was just handed to you :-). The is nothing more universally loved than a magnificant sunset. The texture in the clouds is one of the better examples I have seen in this challenge.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL Exposure seems a little dark to me. I am wondering if you did any bracketing on this shot. With a lttle longer exposure, there might have been just a little more detail in the foreground, and that would have added another level of interest.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL Good processing. Did you do any experimenting on cropping? I am thinking a little bit tighter crop would have cut out some the dark trees in the foreground and made up for the lack of detail.
(5)MEETING THE CHALLENGE This photo does a very good job of meeting the challenge.
(6) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO A very beautiful photograph. I would love to see this with a nice border, maybe matching the color of the pink in the clouds. I am surprised this did not do better, I scored it very high mysewlf. |

This was a very pretty sunset, I just love all the color. I think it might have contained a bit too much of the trees, but htat is just my preference.6.

This fits really well with the song title. It looks like it's going to rain.
