 A Star Magnolia flower. They bloom early in Spring here, which means we either have a spectacular display or all the flowers turn black from the cold, depending on how cold it is and whether that hits before or after the buds open. This year they bloomed beautifully but faded in about 2 days as the temperature rose. But that was OK. Flowers need to be appreciated in the moment.
