 I'm convincing myself this is a female house sparrow, so I'm taking it out of my list.

The beak is finch-like. The wing bars match the pale adult Lesser Goldfinch.

I wonder if it is some kind of Warbler?? - I'm basing this on the bar of yellow above the eye.

Just to keep it honest, scooter97's comment was made when I had this labelled incorrectly as a Lesser Goldfinch.
