Meme shmeme – what kind of challenge is this! Actually a fun one, assuming enough of our DPC population knows what a meme is, and moreover what an Internet meme is. And in my case, are old enough to remember this one. I can only hope.

Post Processing
Loosely, this is composit of three photos encapsulated in a frame.

Photo one is of my computer screen while playing a YouTube video of the subject video, to capture the text. So for the record, it is a photo, not added text.

Photo two is an HDR image of a mask in the Science Fiction Museum’s Icons of Science Fiction Exhibit, at the Seattle center. I shot it with shallow depth of field so the edges would be blurry, the easier to isolate and composite it.

The third photo is an HDR image of a lit stairway in the same museum.

The frame is created in Photoshop to match the look and feel of the video.

I used a bunch of OnOne filters to create and distress the image.

This is probably one of the very first ever internet memes, it's historic, practically in DOS! There is only one other I know of off hand that may be of the same era, Strongbad. I love memes, they get me so giddy!
