 I'm really disappointed that no "text" special rule was added. Oh well.

This creepy girl is a statue at work. She is so life like, you think she is going to move any moment. But no, she just stares at the wall...which happens to be the backdrop of this composite. I photographed the statue, then turned around and photographed the wall.

Next step was putting it together. Behind the statue is a big eating area, so full of objects. Even though it was out of focus, I had a hard time selecting all of the hair strands to mask out. So instead I went heavy handed and masked it so the hair was more in place. I then blurred the mask so the hard lines created by making the mask blended out a bit.

The background was then blurred to give a sense of depth. Add in some Nik Color Efex for pop and Topaz DeNoise. Then finish it off with some dodging and sharpening.

I really do think this image could become a meme. It has the oddity that most meme photos contain. We'll see what the voters think of this challenge.

I must admit I thought it was a real girl that you had processed to look a little weird.
Anyway I still like the image.

This is the third looksee at this image and there is just this creepy, eerie look to her. I guess it's the lighting and processing that she looks a bit plastic-y or just too smooth. The expression, backdrop, and title make me think that if I get too close or disobey then this horrible monster will jump out of this girl's skin and EAT you - sort of a monster in girl's clothing.
