Any wildlife 'tog, especially bird centric understands low light and the necessity of high-ish ISO = grain/noise. Perfect moment captured too. I didn't think the 5D is this hectic at ISO 400 :) Few of us self funded togs can afford a D3/D4 or 1D Mk whatever low noise high ISO sensors. I am saving toward a 2nd hand D3/D3s/D3x. All donations accepted to my PayPal account :)

Wow, what a fabulous catch! Love the stop motion of the bird with it's legs swinging in full run. Light and details are great! The image grain seems very subtle but it *is* there giving a textural feel to the feathers and the grittiness of the clumping & melting snow. Nicely done. |

Oh my gosh! She's so adorable. I love that you caught her running and the contrast with the snow is beautiful. I just hope it isn't your cat making her run like that. :) |
