By the way, I'm no help whatsoever when it comes to reducing the propensity for over-sharpening. I am guilty of the same thing.

Both my husband and I picked this one again Mark. Could you possibly lighten up that middle wave a little bit more maybe? Atm it seems a bit of a black hole line through the middle of your shot. I like this one much much more in a straight bw than the toned version too. This should do very well.
