 Snipe hunt? For the first 50 years of my life, I thought snipe were mythical creatures. It was a joke premise to have a kegger in the woods at Iowa State. Oh, well. Now, I get to see Wilson's Snipe, Gallinago delicata. Very cooperative bird near Lake Estes. 04/20/13

Now that is one long bill! Just love the way he's looking at you with a question in his eye:) And yes, I've been on at least one snipe hunt in my life!
