 Well, I'm entering the free study with an image taken by the Panasonic Lumix LX7. I haven't done super well with this camera yet, despite me thinking I had some really nice shots.

This photo is cracking, and has garnered me a lot of interest on flickr in the form of comments and favorites. More than any other shot this month, so hopefully that translates to doing well here.

This was taken during a visit at almost closing time. The baristas were cleaning up when we walked in, but served us anyway. When it came in this cute little cup, I pulled out my handy Lumix and grabbed a number of shots while it cooled. In this one, I actually took three exposures which I later merged into a natural HDR. Something about this composition really works well for me.

Oh, and yes, I know the sign is backwards, and that actually the place is open...

Crisp where it has to be, bright colours. But not tempting me to keep looking at it and discover things.
