Its perfectly composed, but the B&W makes it look like a heavily overcast day. Also, the man is not very sympathetically dressed, particularly the sandals ond socks.

The composition on this shot is very strong, but it also captures emotion and mood well. I would think this would be a shot you would "cherish" for a long time!

What a great photo! Very moving - definately meets the challenge. I think the composition is perfect. The only thing I would try to change is to tone down the white on the right side of photo to make is not stand out so much. I think the rest of the photo's subtle contrast is excellent! Very high score :)

My husband and I are just a couple of years away from having kids. this picture takes a couple months off that time frame. Wonderful. This is my favorite.

WoW!!!! I just live this photo! I am partial to pics with kids but this is moving. I really don't like B&W shots, but it works so well here, it really makes it and the contrast with the figures. Color would just detract from the individuals. Well done! 10.

Take my comments for what they are worth for I am just a novice with a new camera. Dodo

Any moment with a child should be cherished...I like the contrast between father and son...with dad being bigger and white and the child being smaller and in shadow of the dad...

Good composition and B&W creates a real mood.
