Shot with a Canon 5d mark ii. The purpose of the shadow was to capture self-pity, self-hatred and frustration with oneself. I wanted shadows and negative space to really capture the mood. The lighting was a fluorescent overhead light and it was the only light able to capture the panda head in the reflection of the window.

I really like this photo. The mask is so wonderfully odd! I don't give much weight to titles but FYI I feel this one interferes with my appreciation; I'd rather interpret the photo myself.
ok i've been looking for a while now, and that's a good thing right? i can't convince myself that ISN'T a panda bear in the reflection. it's so disjointed an unusual, i don't know how to put this story together, but i want to. marvelous.
