 This image is focus stacked from 10 images. The reason being is to be able to still take advantage of a shallow DOF yet get all the detail from one end to the other of this fascinating seed pod. This is last years seeds. Spring comes late here in Colorado. Nothing is blooming outside yet. Well, just a small amount has bloomed, and then a snow storm took care of that. No bugs yet either. I have not done anything with macro photography for well over a year so this seemed to be one of the only available outside subjects that gave me any interest.

I recently was asked to join the TPL. I initially signed up, then I backed out due to concerns of not being able to participate as a good team member. Thanks Elysium Team members to asking me to join!

Color, framing, focus and background are all very good. Title was clever. Just wishing there was more of a story.
