 Picoides pubescens

(I chose Downy vs Hairy based on the shorter size of the beak and the presence of the black spots on the outer white tail feathers - which is only visible in this photo. This angle shows the shorter beak of the Downy vs Hairy)

This angle definately shows the bars on the tail feathers - I'd never noticed them before until this challenge. Thanks for sharing!
