 Thanks kfor the help Richard. I could ony find two egrets when I was looking it up and the other one had a blacl beak.

Great shot - I've never seen these before - very pretty coloring - looks almost peachy colored.

When I think of a Great Egret, I sort of expect a bird with a very long neck. And, even a juvenile Great Egret would have blackish legs and feet.

You may certainly be correct and I am not an expert in egrets.

However, your image reminds me of a Cattle Egret, Bubulcus ibis. It's those pale orange patches and stocky neck and short yellow bill which lead me to this opinion.
