I've noticed that our robins seem more red than usual. Or maybe I just never paid enough attention before.

I was amazed when I moved to North Carolina to see so many Robins in the winter - most of them have migrated north at this time.

Definitely missing focus. I was handholding my 100-400 with a lady yelling at me that I was acting suspicious with my out-of-state tags and "big camera" - LOL! (I was pulled off the road in a small neighborhood.)

Good red robin. Full breeding plummage adult male at mating season.

I see bright red robins all the time, not sure why you wouldn't. Haven't seen any yet but they are back.
