 Fairy penguins - also known as little penguins usually flock ashore at dusk but this little loner came in in the afternoon. I don't think Anglesea has a resident colony either, so hopefully things have worked out okay for him. He seemed to be pretty exhausted.
By the time we left he had attracted a little crowd around him.

Nice image. I hope the people crowd didn't get too huge. He doesn't seem to have any fear of them, however.
