Lovely mood and composition. Must say I wouldn't have found the dog without the comments - but I did wonder why he had his arm up like that LOL

A brilliant capture. I love the feeling you have captured here of entering a very dark forest without knowing what is ahead.

So we see the figure on the right, we note the smartphone, we look to the left to see whose picture is taken, and are happy to find the dog hiding in the darks. How nice! It is so well composed, and I like how the play of light coincides with distances (close=dark, far=light). This piece is worth framing.

I like the dark misty look. The trees are silent sentinels as he takes his early morning stroll. Is he starting to wave to a fellow pre-dawn walker or is there a camera in his hand capturing a critter in the night?
