This was about one of two cool shots I managed to get with the incense before I realized the smoke was going straight up from my studio into the family room upstairs and was giving my wife a headache... OOPS!!! Did not help that it was cold outside so we couldn't open windows to air out. Lesson learned.

I had just seen a shot similar to this (but not inverted) that morning and decided to give it a go... Loved the effect inverted it looked like it was being poured into the spoon and overflowing.

Has held up surprisingly well throughout the week, but keeps barely eeking over 6.3, only to get slapped back down.

12 great comments (so far) and hope the end ranking is decent, but there were some other good shots in this limited participation challenge, so who knows! Especially with this last minute drop.

Right now (38 mins to go) sits at 6.23.

Wow... 9th place? That's pretty disappointing when there were only 38 entries, it's barely top 25%.

I do appreciate the comments and votes I received.

quite creative but almost centered composition and slightly too warm white balance make it lack of wow

Nice idea. I would have liked to have seen the spoon stand out more, but even so, this should finish well.
