 Low light inside churches are always a pain, hence the high ISO and aperture. The result was pretty fortunate that the bride's face isn't just a blur! I quite like the slant of the photo as well, but that was also just luck.

Post-procesing steps I think I've done alright:
> Black and white conversion
> Up the contrast a little
> Graduated filter to reduce brightness of the top 3rd of the photo
> A little noise reduction and sharpening on export/resize to JPEG

Post-processing things I considered but didn't do/not so sure about:
> Clone out the over-exposed light towards the top.
> Clone out the highlights on the left at the level of the bride's shoulder.
> Is the crop ok? I tried different crops (to get rid of the light at the top) but found that due to motion blur around the rest of the frame, and the noise (from 1600 ISO) that a central location for the bride's face seems like the right spot.
> Some of the motion blur does make me feel a little sick - not a lot could do apart from crop but then I didn't want to lose the dress from the photo.
> Unfortunately, I didn't get the whole of the bride's dress in the shot
> Not massively sure whether the levels are ok, or whether I should up the exposure a little more (I suppose this depends on the monitor as much as anything).

critique club.

let me guess, center point focus on the brides face. as a result you have too much of nothing at the top and not enough of interesting at the bottom. the blur is also very distracting.

i would also prefer you to have been a bit lower, looking up slighting at the bridge and letting her dominate the frame.

i think you ought to try to crop in a bit and remove a lot of the distracting elements.

With the bride being your element of focus, I would suggest cropping out much of the top of the image.

The dutch angle in this just doesn't work.

Like the out of focus background, not too sure about the dress / feet being chopped off considering the amount of space above the bride.
Also the thing / person on the left of the frame are distracting
