I could actually see this hanging behind the bar of a French bar, while Francois blows cigarette smoke towards Jacqueline in an effort to woo her. Placing her Pernod on the bar she gives him a wry smile and walks slowly out the door, glancing back at Francois then heading toward her arrondissement in the cool Parissienne evening. Does he follow?
No, there's a fat German woman with a packet of crisps and a Stein of lager and he goes to bother her instead. Much easier pickings! |
